CARE AND STORAGE
• Always keep the lens capped and in its case
when not in use.
• Never touch glass lens surfaces with your
fingers or other objects, except as indicated
below.
• If the glass lens surface becomes dirty,
gently remove loose, dry matter from it
with a blower brush. If necessary, the glass
surface may then be wiped gently with a
circular motion from the center outward
with a soft, dry cotton cloth or special
photographic lens tissue.
• If fingerprints or other matter cannot be
removed with a dry cloth or lens tissue, the
cloth or tissue may then be moistened with
not more than one drop of quick-evaporat¬
ing fluid cleaner specially compounded for
photographic lenses. Never drop lens fluid
directly on the lens; always apply it first to
the cloth or tissue, then wipe the glass
surface gently from center to edge.
Store away from heat, high humidity, and
harmful chemicals and vapors.
