35—105mm f/3.5—4.5 MD Zoom lens offers a
remarkably wide range of focal lengths, plus
close-focusing capability up to a quarter life
size.
Operation is quick and simple with focusing
and push-pull zooming accomplished by one
hand on a single textured rubber grip. By
simply pressing a button, a macro collar can be
engaged for focusing on close subjects.
This new-style MD lens has a minimum-aper¬
ture lock which can be engaged to keep the lens
securely set at minimum aperture for P (pro¬
gram) mode in the Minolta X-700 programmed
camera and S (shutter-speed priority) mode in
the XD-series models.
Included with the lens are front and back
caps that protect it when not in use, plus a
convenient clip-on hood which can be reversed
for compact storage.
