Makesurethatthecameraisturnedoffbeforecon-
nectingittoacomputer.UsingtheUSBcable,con-
nectthecameraviatheUSBport(14)toyourPC
andthenturnthecameraon.Thecamerawillbe
recognizedasanexternaldrive–youcanviewyour
filesdirectlyorcopythemtoafolderonyourPC.
Transferring Photos and Videos Via SD Card
Makesurethatthecameraisturnedoffbeforere-
movingtheSDcardfromitsslot(9)asthiscandam-
ageyourSDcard.Insertthecardintoacardreader
andthenconnectthecardreadertoyourPCorif
available,insertthecarddirectlyintotheSDcardslot
ifyourmobiledevice.Youcanviewyourfilesdirectly
orcopythemtoafolderonyourPC.
Note: FormatyourSDcardaftercopyingthefilesto
yourPCandbeforeeveryuse–wesuggestnotto
formatthecardwiththeDTC1000(seealso“For-
mat”under“CameraSetting”).Thisprocedurede-
letesolderdatafromtheSDcardandpreparesyour
cardforanerror-freeoperationinyourcamera.Itis
recommendedtorecordsomeimagesdirectlyafter
insertingtheSDcardtoverifythecamera’sfunction-
ality.Pleasemakesurethatthecameraisturnedoff
beforeinsertingorremovingtheSDcard.
