1 ABOUT THIS MANUAL
The TA7102 offers two Ethernet connectors switches enabling to establish two connections between
conventional analog telephones or Group 3 fax machines and either a WAN, a LAN or a personal
computer. It can be used to provide connectivity to broadband access equipment for a Service Provider’s
IP Telephony offering to residential or SME markets.
1.1 DOCUMENT OBJECTIVES
The TA7102 Hardware Installation Guide provides technical information on how to physically install the
TA7102. It also describes the cabling required for the TA7102 device.
