Why does rotation ripple occur at low speed on my Mitsubishi Electric MELSERVO MR-J3-xT?

  Large rotation ripples at low speed can be due to a gain adjustment fault or a large load inertia moment causing the servo motor shaft to oscillate. To resolve this, make gain adjustments by increasing the auto-tuning response level and repeating acceleration and deceleration several times to complete auto-tuning. If the servo motor can be run safely, repeat acceleration and deceleration several times to complete auto tuning.

  A position shift can occur due to a pulse counting error caused by noise. Confirm the cumulative command pulses, cumulative feedback pulses, and the actual servo motor position.

Why is the servo motor shaft not servo-locked (free) in my Mitsubishi Electric MELSERVO MR-J3-xT Amplifier?

  If the servo motor shaft is not servo-locked, it could be because the servo-on (RYn0) is not input due to a wiring mistake, or because 24VDC power is not supplied to DICOM. Check the display to see if the servo amplifier is ready to operate. Also, check the external I/O signal indication to see if the servo-on (RYn0) signal is ON.
