4.7. Activating the Mitte Cartridge
NOTICE
Before the device is ready for use, the Mitte cartridge must be
activated.
If a cartridge has not been in use a ush may be recommended or
required, see chapter 7.2.

1. Ensure that the bottle is empty and
locked into the dispense head.
2. The water quality indicator, on top of the
dispense head, should be steady orange
in order to remind you to discard the
water from this dispense.
3. All carbonation levels will pulse fast
white. Touch any carbonation level to
begin the activation. The water ow will
begin.
• The cartridge activation will take
1 - 2 minutes. It’s normal that the rst
dispense does not produce a full bottle
of water.
4. Wait until the water quality indicator
light stops pulsing, then remove the
bottle and discard the water.
