Resolving “Interlock is broken” message in MKAT software
This message refers to an issue with the interlock system connected to the main
subrack auxiliary socket.
Firstly, ensure the auxiliary plug is properly  tted into the auxiliary socket on the
main subrack. If the auxiliary plug is wired to an external device such as a safety
switch, ensure that the device is closed.
Alternatively, check the connection by removing the auxiliary plug and ensuring
there is a connection between pins 1 and 2. Then, replace the auxiliary plug.
Note: This interlock should not be confused with the safety system interlock.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
We recommend you carry out preventative maintenance when you invest in an MK
test system. By regularly checking for - and  xing - small issues, preventative
maintenance helps reduce downtime and keeps the test process safe as well as
accurate.
Do conduct a Self Test regularly - see the main user manual for details.
Do carry out frequent visual checks on interface connectors & LEDs.
Do maintain a good level of cleanliness around the system.
Do book annual calibrations to ensure the system stays within operational
parameters.
Do consult MK Test engineers to support any additional requirements.
Do not open the system; there are no serviceable parts inside.
Do not use any non-ESD cleaning solutions.
