The Zeus200 is a thermoelectric generator designed for electricity production, specifically for recharging batteries in campers and caravans during static use. It operates as an eco-energy system, converting thermal energy into electrical energy.
Function Description
The Zeus200 generator is designed to produce electricity by converting thermal energy. It recharges 12V or 24V batteries in recreational vehicles. The system includes a generator unit, a power unit, and a display unit for control and monitoring. It utilizes a diesel fuel supply and a cooling system that circulates seawater to manage operating temperatures. The generator's output varies based on the thermal delta, which is influenced by factors such as sea temperature, humidity, and air rarefaction due to altitude or atmospheric pressure.
Important Technical Specifications

Usage Features
- Control Panel: The display/control panel should be positioned in a clearly visible and protected location, away from heat, dust, or vibrations.
- Fuel Quality: Operates with standard engine diesel (DIN EN 590). For external temperatures from 0°C to -20°C, winter diesel is used; for -20°C to -40°C, arctic or polar diesel is required. The addition of used oil is strictly prohibited.
- Battery Compatibility: Supports PB, AGM, GEL, and LiFePO4 batteries, with recommended capacities from 100 to 500Ah. Old batteries should not be used as they can cause malfunctions.
- Cooling System: Consists of an internal circuit (pre-charged with glycol) and an external circuit (seawater). The external water pump must operate in the presence of water to prevent damage.
- Safety Features: Includes a D+/+15 signal key connection that deactivates the generator if the engine is running, preventing simultaneous charging from the vehicle's alternator.
- Installer Menu: Accessible via a password (3105), this menu allows monitoring of operating parameters (water temperature, smoke temperature, supply voltage, working hours, burner power, water pump, fuel pump, heat sink temperature, internal temperature, Zeus voltage, solar panel voltage), and forced activation of the generator or water/fuel pumps for testing or purging.
- Alarm Management: The system displays error icons for hardware errors. Alarms can be reset from the maintenance menu or by pressing a dedicated reset button, which also resets timers, mode, and battery management settings to factory defaults. A historical alarm log is available.
Maintenance Features
- Cooling System Loading: Before first start-up, the cooling system must be checked. The internal circuit is pre-charged, and the external circuit requires verification of pipe connections and seacock operation. A functional test of the water pump can be performed via the display.
- Fuel System Loading: The fuel line needs to be loaded by disconnecting a blue rilsan tube near the generator and activating the "Fuel pump" function in the Installer Menu until fuel liquid is observed. This purges air from the fuel pipes, ensuring correct and fast ignition.
- Battery Type Selection: The primary (services) and secondary (engine) battery types are selected using dip-switches on the power unit, with specific settings for different battery chemistries (Lead Hermetic/Agm/Gel, Lead Acid Free/FLOOD, LiFePO4).
- Component Accessibility: The design allows for checking and, if necessary, cleaning or replacing the water filter.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive table of common errors, possible causes, and solutions, covering issues like no power supply, low power production, battery warnings, communication errors, combustion errors, and pump malfunctions.
- Antifreeze Product: Only the specified antifreeze product should be used for topping up the cooling system to avoid damage.
- Cleaning: The generator should not be cleaned with a pressure washer or high-pressure water.
- Repairs: Repairs must only be carried out by Mobil Tech authorized personnel using original spare parts to maintain warranty validity and generator approval.
