When LOW BATTERY SYMBOL appears on the display, or no
reaction toward operation, please change batteries. Replace all worn-out
batteries with new ones and do not mix new and used batteries. Do not
mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable cadmium batteries

shorten the battery life
or cause the device to
malfunction.
Slide the battery cover
and insert 2 AAA (LR03)
alkaline batteries into
the battery compartment
as shown on the figure
below. Make sure the
polarities "+" and "–"
ends are coinciding
with similar markings
engraved on the
battery housing.
