▣ SIP Servers
♦ Registrar: is the service IP address or domain that stores the location information of the user and keeps
track of the localtion of the called group.
♦ Proxy : is the server that handles call requests from the phone, initializes connection, answers a call and
manages all such things for the sender until the call is connected.
♦ Outbound Proxy : receives a call and handles it. It’s installed and operated in a brach part.
♦ Presence : manages the current user information and keeps the history of sent messages. To use the SMS
function, the presence address must be entered.
♦ SMS : transfers received or sent messages to the right user. If the receiver is on call, it holds the message
and later sends it.
