Monarch 9416 - Deleting a Key from Overlay

Using the Update Utility 5-9
10. Click Done to return to the main screen.
Whenever you return to the Main screen, you are
prompted:
11. Click OK to continue.
12. If you made changes:
♦ print the new overlay, see “Printing the Overlay,”
for more information.
♦ update the keypad’s software/application, see
“Updating the Keypad,” for more information.
Deleting a Key
You can delete a key from either the Edit Overlay Key
Data or Edit Label Data screen. When you delete a
key
♦ the key’s information is removed from the
database.
♦ the key appears as a black box on the overlay.
Note: Check with your System Administrator before
removing any key from the database.
1. From the main screen, click Edit Overlay.
The Overlay Edit screen appears.
