The MONIX CLASSICA pressure cooker has two
safety systems against pressure overload:
While in use, if the pressure evacuation system is
covered, two safety systems can become active:
1. First safety system: The safety valve releases ex-
cess pressure inside the cooker.
2. Second safety system: This would release pres-
sure between the cooker body and the lid as a
result of a controlled movement of the cooker
handles.
IF ANY OF THE TWO SAFETY SYSTEMS IS AC-
TIVATED:
Turn off the heat source.
Wait for the cooker to cool.
Verify the valve centralizer, the operating valve
and the safety valve.
