6 Maintenance
A maintenance-free operation of the MonTurn is possible if they are used according to their intended purpose
and are not exposed to life-reducing influences.
Intended use and life-reducing influences are listed in chapter 3.1 “Use for intended purpose”.
In the presence of dust, oil-containing air, foreign bodies, such as chips from processing machines, etc., we
recommend thoroughly cleaning the MonTurn regularly, for example weekly, with cleaner's naphtha.

Improper maintenance work can result in injury!
Improper maintenance can lead to serious personal injury or material damage.
– Have maintenance work performed by qualified personnel only.
– Before starting work, disconnect the power supply to the device and secure it
against accidental restart (lock-out/tag-out).
6.1 Maintenance plan
The following table describes the maintenance work required for optimum, uninterrupted operation of the
MonTurn.
If regular checks show excessive wear, shorten the necessary maintenance intervals in line with actual wear.

– Use only OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts or spare parts approved by
the manufacturer.
