11.8.3 Set the answer machine auto on/o
You can set the time when the answer machine turns on or o.
1. Press the left C key, Answer Phone is displayed.
2. Press the left C key, scroll E to Settings .
3. Press the left C key, scroll E to Auto on/o .
4. Press the left C key, under On/o , scroll the left or right navigation key to
select O , On once , Daily , Mon - Fri , Sat or Sun .
5. Scroll E to On time , enter the time for the answer machine to switch on
(HH:MM) e.g. 04:30.
6. Scroll E to AM / PM , if you have selected the 12 hours format (see page
13), press the left or right navigation button to select AM or PM .
7. Scroll E to O time , enter the time for the answer machine to switch on
(HH:MM) e.g. 04:30.
8. Scroll E to AM / PM , if you have selected the 12 hours format (see page
13), press the left or right navigation button to select AM or PM .
9. Press the left C key to save.
11.9 Ring delay
Select the duration of rings before your answer machine picks up the call.
Choose from 2-10 rings or Time saver .
• When set to Time saver , if you have new messages, your phone answers
after 2 rings.
• If there are no new messages it will answer after 6 rings. So you have the
option to hang up, saving the time and cost of a call.
• If the memory is full, it will automatically revert to Answer only mode.
1. Press the left C key, Answer Phone is displayed.
2. Press the left C key, scroll E to Ring Delay .
3. Press the left C key, scroll U or E to select either Answer only or
Ans. & record .
4. Press the left C key, scroll the left and right navigation keys to select the
number of rings required and press the left C key to confirm.
Note
You can also access the ring delay menu under Answer Phone > Settings on
the handset.
