Moto Note
Use the Smart Stylus (may be sold separately) or your finger to create, 
edit, and share notes.
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap the Moto folder > 
Moto Note 
 
Moto Note screen. Tap the thumbnail to view, edit, share, or delete a note. 
 » Create a note: Tap  . To save the note you have created, tap  .
 » Switch modes: Tap  ,  ,  , or   to switch between drawing, text, 
photo, or audio mode. 
 » Drawing mode: Tap the tools on the bottom of the screen to change to 
a dierent highlighter, erase the drawing, insert a ruler, and more. To 
add an image or text, tap 
 > Add image or Add text. Tap    to expand 
the canvas. Tap 
 or   to scroll the canvas up or down. 
Tip: Tap   >   Settings > Auto-shape to turn Auto-shape on. Draw a 
shape and leave your stylus on the canvas for a while, and your 
hand-drawn shape will be converted into a ready-made shape. 
 » Text mode: Tap on the keyboard or handwrite on the screen with the 
stylus (see Handwrite with your Smart Stylus) to input text. To add an 
interactive checklist, tap 
 below the canvas to start a checklist. Each 
time you tap the return button on the keyboard or 
 on the 
handwriting control bar  , a new item is added to the list. 
To remove a check box, tap   again. Tap a square bullet point next to 
an item to mark it as completed. 
 » Photo mode: Tap   to insert a photo or screenshot from the gallery. 
Tap   to take and add a new photo. To convert images of typed, 
handwritten, or printed text into machine-encoded text, tap 
. Take a 
photo or choose an image from the gallery, then tap Copy to clipboard 
Switch to List View.
Tap a note to open it.
Create a note.
View notes, change settings, and 
manage categories.
Search for a note.
