Mike’s Talk Around TM

Transmit
appears on
the first line of display. Begin speaking
after your phone emits the Mike’s Talk
Around tone.
Note:
The Mike’s Talk Around tone consists of
4 rapid beeps.

Release the PTT button to listen.
If you receive an error message:
•
No one is on your channel or code.
•
You are out of range.
receiving code calls
When you receive a code call,
Receive
will
appear on the display. After hearing the Mike’s
Talk Around tone, you have 6 seconds to reply
before the call times out.
To reply to the call, press the PTT button.
Note:
An incoming Mike’s Talk Around call
can be terminated at any time by pressing

receiving all Mike’s Talk Around
calls
If you set the code to
Receive All
, your phone
can receive Mike’s Talk Around transmissions
from any phone that is set to the same
channel, regardless of the code (1-15). When
you receive transmissions with the code set
to
Receive All
, the code that the transmission
was received on will replace
Receive All
on the
display.
Note:
You cannot initiate a code call when the
code is set to
Receive All
.
