Using the Transportable
AThis section is only applicable if you have purchased your
phone with the optional transportable kit or as a
transportable.
Removal from the Vehicle
Removing the Handset
Always start by making sure that the phone is switched off. Lift
the handset from its mount. Press the lock on the coil cord plug
while pulling out the cord. You are now ready to remove the
transceiver.
Removing the Transceiver
Disconnect the power cable and the antenna cable. Press the
release button while sliding the transceiver toward the back wall
of the mounting tray. Lift the transceiver from the tray.
AIf you have the U-mount tray, remove the mounting screws
from the bracket before lifting the transceiver.
