After cloning is completed, the Source radio will
announce either ‘pass’ (cloning was
successful) or ‘fail’ (cloning process has
failed). If the Source radio is a display model, it
will either show ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’ on the display (a
tone will be heard within 5 seconds).
8. Once you have completed the cloning process,
turn the radios OFF and ON to exit ‘clone’
mode.
What To Do if Cloning Fails
The radio will emit "Fail" indicating that the
cloning process has failed. In the event that
cloning fails, try performing each of the
following before trying to start the cloning
process again:
1. Ensure that the batteries on both radios are fully
charged.
2. Check the cloning cable connection on both
SUCs.
3. Ensure that the battery is engaged properly on
to the radio.
4. Ensure that there is no debris in the charging
tray or on the radio contacts.
5. Ensure that the Source radio is in cloning mode.
6. Ensure that the Target radio is turned ON.
7.
Ensure that radios are both from the same
frequency band, same region and same
transmission power.
Note: This cloning cable is designed to operate
only with compatible Motorola SUC
RLN6175 and PMLN6394A
