Menu Screen Use the + or - button to do the following:
This tone is transmitted when you release the PTT button,
similar to saying "Roger" or "Over." This tone indicates to
others that you have finished talking.
Weather Mode
• In this mode, you can listen to weather broadcast from
NOAA or Environment Canada.
• Adjust the volume setting by pressing the + or - button.
• The radio switches to Two-Way mode if no button is
pressed for five minutes.
Weather Channel Setting (Weath-
er Channel Setting blinks)
Change the weather channel setting by pressing the + or -
button.
Weather Alert Setting Turn on or off the weather aler feature by pressing the + or -
button.
