4. Lift the end of the battery and remove it completely. See Figure 2.
5. To replace, Align the battery with the battery compartment so the contacts on the battery
match the battery contacts in the phone.
6. Insert the battery, contacts side first, into the battery compartment and push down.
7. Insert the ridge at the bottom of the battery housing into the base of the phone, then push
the cover down and snap it into place.

There is a danger of explosion if the Lithium Ion battery is replaced incorrectly.
Replace only with the same type of battery or equivalent as recommended by the
battery manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
