21 (EN)
2. Slowly pull out the starter handle (3) until you feel resistance on the rope. Then
pull the rope out completely with a steady swing. When the motor is running, let
the rope slowly return to the rope guide.
Do not let the starter handle (3) snap back against the engine. Slowly lower the handle
into the retaining clip on the guide rail to avoid damaging the starter.
Do not jerk the handle in quick succession, as this can cause
damage. Don’t apply hard force to the starter unit.
A steady and soft movement of the starter handle will both ap-
propriately saturate the gas/air mixture and prevent damages.

Hold the brake lever (2) with both hands during operation.
Slide the lawn mower across the lawn in parallel lanes. If the engine speed drops audibly
quickly, stop and take a narrower strip of lawn into the mower.
