Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation. It is also
necessary to maintain the low emission level of the engine.
Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts. Do not tilt the
lawn mower after take-off. When you turn on the lawnmower,
it must be on a flat surface and there must be no tall grass or
obstacles.
For all work on the blade, the oil and gasoline circuit as well as
the knife, remove the spark plug plug conector (# 10) in
beforehand.
Place the lawn mower on its side so that the air filter is directed
upwards. If the air filter is directed downwards, fuel and oil may
leak or engine oil may clog the carburetor and air filter.

Do not spray the engine with water. Water can damage the
engine and contaminate the gasoline circuit.
The bottom of the housing must be cleaned after each use to remove grass residue,
leaves and dirt. Such residues contain active organic substances that can cause rust and
corrosion. Clean the housing by tilting the lawn mower and brushing it coarsely from
below with a brush.
