Empty the fuel tank with a suction pump or using the hose between the tank and
the carburetor.
Do not empty the tank indoors, near open flames, or the like.
Do not smoke! Gasoline fumes can cause explosions or fires.
Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive. They can cause
serious burns or injuries while handling gasoline. Turn off the
engine and keep heat sources, sparks and open fire away. Refill
petrol only outdoors. Wipe up spilled gasoline immediately.
a. Place an approved gasoline tank under the carburetor (16) and use a fun-
nel to avoid running out of the gasoline.
b. Remove the drain plug and then turn on the fuel valve (7).
c. After the gasoline has run into the container, reinstall the drain plug and
washer. Tighten the drain plug securely.
2. Turn on the engine and let it run until all fuel residue is used up.
3. Close the fuel valve #7.
4. Remove the spark plug. Use an oil jug and pour about 20 ml of oil into the com-
bustion chamber. Pull on the starter cable hoist to distribute the oil evenly in the
combustion chamber. Then reinstall the spark plug.
5. Clean the fuel filter.
a. Remove the fuel strainer from
the tank and fuel line.
b. Clean the fuel filter (remove
dirt on the grid and check the
grid for damage and cracks).
c. Install the fuel filter and gaso-
line line.
6. Carefully clean and oil the lawn mower in accordance with the
steps set out in section 7.7.
7. Lubricate the blade lightly to avoid rusting.
8. Store the lawn mower in a dry, clean and frost-proof place that is inaccessible to
unauthorized persons.
If you store power equipment in an unventilated storage room or a garden shed, the
device must be protected from rust.
