BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove the bread maker from the box. Remove all plastic sheets, bags and styrofoam in-
serts.
2. Place the bread maker on a firm, level and heat-resistant surface. Keep a clearance of 15 cm
around the bread maker.
3. Clean the bread maker (see CLEANING & MAINTENANCE, items 4 and 5).
USING THE APPLIANCE
This procedure applies to operating the bread maker when baking products. See the sample reci-
pes further in this manual.
1. With the bread pan removed and clean, put the kneading paddle (10) on the shaft inside (9).
2. Put the dosed ingredients in the bread pan according to the recipe of choice. Mind the dos-
ing order of ingredients, if any. If required by the chosen recipe, you can cool down the bread
pan in a fridge (especially when you want to use Start Delay; this way the ingredients will stay
fresh for longer).
3. Insert the bread pan in the bread maker oven (see INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BREAD
PAN) and close the lid (2).
4. Plug the bread maker to a power outlet. The bread maker will sound standby with a long
beep.
5. Select the program with (K1).
6. Select the bread loaf weight with (K2).
7. Select the bread loaf crust colour with (K5).
8. Start Delay example: it is 12:00 (PM); if you want the bread to be ready at 17:00 (5:00 PM), set a
delay + program time to 5h 00m with (K3) (for hours) and (K4) (for minutes).
9. Press (K6) to start processing. The bread maker will start mixing the ingredients in the bread
pan; next, it will stop to let the loaf rise for a defined time, and bake the bread afterwards.
Press and hold (K6) for 3 seconds to interrupt the program. If you set a Start Delay time, the
bread maker will be at standstill until the program time countdown begins.
10. If the bread maker sounds 10 short beeps during processing, you can open the lid to inspect
the dough in the bread pan and add more ingredients (if required).
11. Otherwise use the lid window (5) to monitor the baking process. Do not open the bread
maker lid within 1h 30m before the program ends. Burn hazard.
12. When the countdown reaches 0 (0:00), the bread maker will sound 10 short beeps, followed
by 1h of Heat Hold (indicated by the flashing indication “0:00”). If you want to skip Heat Hold,
press and hold (K6) until the bread maker beeps one time.
13. Open the bread maker lid and inspect the bread colour. If you need to finish baking, set Pro-
gram 12 and adjust the finish baking time.
14. If the bread is well done and can be removed from the bread maker, unplug the bread maker
from power, open the bread maker lid, and remove the bread pan by its handle (see: INSERT-
ING AND REMOVING THE BREAD PAN).
CAUTION! The bread pan is very hot. Always use heat-resistant kitchen gloves when removing and emptying
the bread pan.
