13 Disassembly
The safe disassembly of the motor-drive unit is described below.
WARNING
Risk of severe injury or death!
An energized transformer and energized on-load tap-changer and motor-
drive unit components can cause death or serious injuries during disassem-
bly!
► Switch off voltage supply.
► Lock voltage supply to prevent unintentional restart.
► Make sure everything is de-energized.
► Cover or cordon off adjacent energized parts.
Disassembling the control cabinet
Proceed as follows to disassemble the control cabinet:
1. Remove connecting cable between gear motor and control cabinet.
2. Remove control cabinet connecting cable.
3. Attach lifting gear to the extendable control cabinet brackets.
4. Remove the nuts for fastening the control cabinet.

5. WARNING! Remove and lower the control cabinet using the lifting
gear. While doing so, ensure that the lifting gear cable angle does not fall
below 45° in relation to the horizontal. Otherwise, the control cabinet may
be damaged and serious injuries may result.
ð The control cabinet is disassembled.
