Determining the heating current
ü The value of the temperature gradient is specified by the transformer
manufacturer (e.g. gr=20K).
1. Read the associated value for the heating current from the setting curve
(desired value, 1.1A in this example).
2. Determine the voltage at terminals and using a high-impedance
voltmeter.
ð The numerical value of the measured voltage in V corresponds to the
numerical value of the heating current in A.
