Repeat the diagnostic operations after the repair works.
To diagnose operation of the electric parking brake caliper, connect the caliper electric motor via
the set of wires to the power terminals 7, 8 (Fig. 1) of the test bench (Fig. 7).
Place a metal bar or any other hard element between the housing and the caliper piston to
prevent the piston from falling out of the housing.
Then activate the test bench with the button 4 (Fig. 1), switch on power (12 V) by turning the knob
6 (Fig. 1). If the electric parking brake caliper is faultless, it will move forward and reach the stop
(Fig. 8).
