Check fuel tank for gas
Spark plug lead wire discon¬
nected
Throttle control lever not in
the starting position
Faulty spark plug
Carburetor improperly adjusted
Engine flooded
A Fill tank if empty
B Connect lead wire
C Move throttle lever to start
position.
D Spark should jump gap between
control electrode and side elec¬
trode. If spark does not jump,
replace the spark plug.
E Remove spark plug, dry the
plug, crank engine with plug
removed, and throttle in off po¬
sition. Replace spark plug and
lead wire and resume starting
procedures.
