Another potential cause is sheared shear pins, which would require replacement. A foreign object lodged in the auger can also prevent discharge; to resolve this, stop the engine immediately, disconnect the spark plug wire, and remove the object. Additionally, the auger control cable might be out of adjustment and should be adjusted, or the auger belt may be loose or damaged, necessitating a replacement.
