  If the illuminated pushbutton “Water alarm” is lit on your MTU Engine, it indicates the maximum water level was reached, and the water drain valve opening period exceeded 4 minutes, causing the pump to switch off. First, press the illuminated pushbutton “Water alarm” to acknowledge the alarm. Also, you can manually drain the water by pressing the illuminated pushbutton “Water drain” to open the drain valve.
