1. Hook the harness into the fastening eyelet (Figure 15).
NOTE: The harness should be placed in the eyelet hole
that allows the trimmer head or blade to cut
parallel to the ground.
2. Slip the harness strap over your shoulder.
3. Adjust the length of the strap to allow the trimmer
head or blade to cut parallel to the ground.
Engine Locking Screw
A locking screw (A, Figure 16) is located in the engine/shaft
adapter, and is used to keep the engine from moving when
the trimmer is in use. The screw may be loosened to allow
the repositioning of the engine.
