Why is the backup time so short when there's a power failure with my Mustek UPS?

If your Mustek UPS provides a short backup time during a power failure, it could be due to several reasons. First, the UPS might be overloaded; try removing some non-critical devices. Second, the battery voltage could be too low; in this case, charge the battery for at least 8 hours. Finally, the battery might be defective due to high temperature or improper operation; if so, replace it with the same type of battery.
