Oil warning system
The oil warning system is designed to prevent
motor damage due to insucient oil in the
crankcase. Before the level of oil in the crankcase
falls below the safety marking, the oil warning
system switches o the motor automatically (the
ignition switch stays in position “ON”). If the oil
warning system switches o the motor, rell motor
oil..
5.2. TO FUEL THE ENGINE
• Open the fuel tank cap.
• Check the ll level.
• Rell fuel if the ll level is low.
• Do not exceed the fuel lter when lling the tank.
WARNING::
1. Fuel is extremely combustible and under
certain circumstances explosive.
2. Refuel only when the engine is stopped and
in an area with good ventilation. Do not smoke
during refuelling or in the same room where
the fuel is stored, and avoid open re and ying
sparks.
3. Do not overll the fuel tank (there should
not be fuel in the receiver tube). After fuelling
ensure the tank cap is closed properly and
safely.
Take care not to spill fuel during fuelling.
Spilled fuel or the fuel vapour may catch re.
If fuel has been spilled, ensure the area is dry
before starting the motor.
4. Avoid long-term skin contact with fuel and
inhalation of fumes.
5. STORE THE FUEL OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN.
Use at least 90 octane fuel.
We recommend unleaded petrol as it leaves fewer
residues inside the motor and on the ignition plug,
and prolongs the life cycle of the exhaust system.
Never use old or dirty petrol or oil/petrol mixtures.
Avoid contamination with dirt or water in the tank.
Occasionally ignition knocking or clanging can be
heard with high loads. This is normal and no cause
for alarm. If ignition knocking or clanging occurs
during normal loads and with constant motor
speed you should change the petrol quality. If this
does not solve the problem contact an authorized
specialist dealer.
WARNING: L
ong-term op
eration of the motor
with continual ignition knocking can damage
the motor. Long-term operation of the motor
with continual ignition knocking is considered
incorrect operation, and will void the warranty,
as the warranty does not cover damage of parts
due to incorrect operation.
5.3. GROUNDING OF THE GENERATOR
The power generator is equipped with a
grounding function, which connects the frame
structure of the appliance to the grounding
connections of the AC plugs. The grounding is not
connected to the AC neutral conductor wire. If
the generator is tested with a voltage tester it will
not show the same grounding characteristics as a
normal household appliance.
For protection against electric shock ensure the
generator is grounded.
Connect the generator to the grounding source,
e.g. a water pipe or a copper bar stuck into the
ground with a thick wire.
WARNING: N
ev
er use pipes transporting
combustible substances as grounding source.
