7.2. FUSE
In case of a short-circuit or a severe over-load of
the generator, the fuse disconnects it from the
outlet. Once the fuse has automatically switched to
“OFF”, check that the connected electric appliance
is working properly and does not exceed the valid
load limit before switching it back on.
8. TO STOP THE MOTOR
In case of emergency:
Move the ignition switch to “OFF” to switch o the
motor in case of emergency..
During normal operation:
Before stopping the motor, switch o the electric
appliance.
Switch motor switch to position “OFF”.
Move fuel valve to position “OFF”.
9. REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Maintenance operations and recommended
maintenance intervals are listed following.
Clean the air lter every 50 hours for normal
operation in clean environments
Clean the ignition plug every 50 hours for normal
operation
Clean the fuel lter every 50 hours for normal
operation
9.1 AIR FILTER
Remove the lter cover.
Clean the f
oam pre
-lter in a non-combustible
solvent.
Alternatively: Wash the pre-lter with soap
water.
Squeeze the pre-lter to remove the solvent/
soap water.
Clean the paper lter by beating it.
Rinse the washed lter carefully with clean water.
Let the lter dry completely or dry it with
compressed air.
If the motor is operated in a very dusty
environment clean the air lter daily or every ten
hours of operation.
WARNING:
The use of p
etrol or combustible
solvents for cleaning can cause re or
explosion. Therefore only use soap water or
non-combustible solvent.
Never operate the power generator without the
air lter.
This can result in the motor wearing out more
quickly.
Lassen Sie das Stromaggregat niemals ohne
den Luftlter laufen. Die Folge wäre ein
beschleunigter Verschleiß des Motors.
9.2 IGNITION PL
UG
R
emove the ignition plug and clean the
electrode with a wire brush.
Normal colour of the electrode: Fawn
Check the distance of ignition plugs. 0.7-0.8 mm
WARNING:
The ignition plug must b
e tightened
rmly. A insuciently tightened ignition
plug may become very hot and cause motor
damage. Never use ignition plugs of a wrong
temperature range. Only use the recommended
or a similar ignition plug.
9.3 FUEL FILTER
Clean the lter with solvent.
Wipe o the solvent.
Reinsert the fuel lter.
