Reliability

anoverheatingsituation.High-volume,low-pressure,fans
keepboththepowersupplyandtheoutputstagecool,yetare
essentiallyquietinoperation.Thermostaticallycontrolled,the
fansautomaticallyadjusttotheambienttemperaturetoinsure
theoptimumoperatingconditionsfortheamplieratalltimes.

OMC
NAD’sproprietaryOutputManagementCircuit
(OMC)ensuresthatthefullpowerisavailableatany
reasonableloadimpedance.Iftheloadimpedance
fallsbelow3ohms,indicatingsomethingotherthan
aloudspeakerisconnectedtotheamplierchannel,
theOMCwilllimitthepowerowandpreventthe
amplierfromoverdrivingoroverheating.Thisis
notonlyprotectstheamplier,butitalsoprevents
