S08 MAINTENANCE
TO BLEED THE FUEL SYSTEM FITTED WITH AN
ADDITIONAL ELECTRIC FUEL FEED PUMP :
Fill completely the fuel tank. Open the fuel valve.
6. Loose the venting screw
. Dispose floorcloths
around the venting screw.
7. Start the engine for 5 to 10 seconds to let the electric
fuel feed pump bring fuel up to the injection pump.
8. Pump the fuel using the lever
until fuel free of air
bubbles flows from the venting screw.
9. At this stage, you can tighten the venting screw.
10. Pump again a few more times to make sure to prime
completely the system.
CAUTION !
Avoid draining all fuel from the lter during this process.
