If the unit fails to de-pressurize, the solenoid valve may not be functioning correctly; if there is power to the coil, replace the valve. Finally, check the inlet air supply if the outlet flow stops.

Insufficient purge air, which requires adjustment by service personnel, or a blocked exhaust silencer, also requiring service, could be responsible.
