  If your Napoleon Grill burner won't light with the igniter but lights with a match, replace the battery with a heavy-duty 'AAA' battery, ensuring the positive terminal faces up. Check that the electrode wire is firmly attached to the igniter's terminal. If you have a one-spark system, use a one-spark igniter. Make sure the collector box is tight and the gap between the electrode and collector box is between 1/8 - 3/16", adjusting by bending the box. Closing the air shutter slightly may also help.

  To resolve a low burner output on the “high” setting (indicated by rumbling noise and fluttering blue flame) on your Napoleon Grill, first check the gas level in your propane cylinder and reposition the supply hose if it's pinched. Then, clean the burner orifice and venturi tube to remove any obstructions. If the ceramic tile is cracked, order a replacement from an authorized Napoleon dealer. Also, ensure you follow the correct lighting procedure: all gas grill valves must be off when the tank valve is turned on; turn it on slowly to equalize pressure. Refer to the lighting instructions.
