  If the National Instruments Control Unit PXIe-446x module is not showing up in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), try the following: * In MAX, expand 'Devices and Interfaces'. * Expand the 'Chassis' tree and refresh the list by pressing F5. * If it's still not listed, power off the system, ensure the hardware is correctly installed, and restart. * Check the Device Manager to verify the PXIe-446x appears there under an NI entry. If there are error conditions, reinstall the NI-DAQmx driver.

  If the ACCESS LED is off when the National Instruments Control Unit chassis is on, it could indicate a problem with the chassis power rails, the hardware module, or the LED itself. First, verify that the PXIe-446x appears in MAX. Then: 1. Disconnect any signals from the module front panels. 2. Power off the chassis. 3. Remove the module and inspect it for damage. Do not reinstall a damaged module. 4. Install the module in a different chassis slot. 5. Power on the chassis again. 6. Check if the module appears in MAX. Reset the module in MAX and perform a self-test.
