Appearance
TheDPFbrickhasshiftedandmadecontactwiththeDPFOTsensorportbung,buthas
notdamagedtheDPFsubstrate.
Cause
Excessivesootaccumulationcausedbyabaseengineconcern,resultinginhigherthan
normalexhaustbackpressure.
Action
Determineandrepairtherootcauseoftheexcessiveexhaustbackpressure.Oncethe
rootcauseisrepaired,performtheDPFsnapaccelerationtest.Ifnoblacksmokeis
seenduringthesnapaccelerationtest,theDPFcanbereused.
