(DOC)
ADOCispartofthedieselexhaustAftertreatmentsystem.DOCsaredevicesthatuseachemicalprocess
tobreakdownpollutantsintheexhauststreamintolessharmfulcomponents.Morespecically,DOCs
utilizeraremetalssuchaspalladiumandplatinumtoreducehydrocarbonbasedSolubleOrganicFraction
(SOF)andcarbonmonoxidecontentofdieselexhaustbysimpleoxidation.TheDOCcanbeusedduringan
activeregenerationtocreatehigherexhausttemperatures,therebyreducingsootintheDPF.

microprocessorsystemsbecauseithasaveryhighinternalimpedanceandwillnotloaddownthecircuit
