supply (USB port) and connected devices before cleaning. A dry,
soft and clean cloth is sufcient for cleaning. Do not press too hard
on the housing. ATTENTION: It has a very thin wall, this can lead to
damage or scratch marks. The protection case (carbon cover) pro-
tects the APPCON 3000 from damage. Always keep the case and
the APPCON 3000 clean to avoid scratches on the APPCON 30000.
Safety Instructions
In certain extreme loading/unloading scenarios, the APPCON 3000
can become hot. All protective measures have been taken - such
as overcharge protection, overdischarge protection, short-circuit
protection, overheating protection.
Temperature limits APPCON 3000:
Good temperature range: -19°C to 55°C,
poor temperature range: less than -20° or greater than 60°.
The following temperature limits apply when charging the APPCON
3000 (e.g. charging by dynamo):
good temperature range: 0°C to 50.5°C
Poor temperature range: less than -5°C or greater than 51°C
If the poor temperature range is reached, the APPCON 3000
switches off individual functions. The red/white LED lights up
until the unit has cooled down to the good temperature range.
Warning
Protect the APPCON 3000 from open re! There is a risk of explo-
sion. When the APPCON 3000 is opened or damaged, electrolyte
may leak which is corrosive to the skin and eyes. Always protect
the APPCON 3000 with the supplied carbon protective tube, in
which it is safe from shocks and damage.
Electrostatic discharge:
This device is sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Protect the de-
vice from any possible electrostatic discharge.
