Why is my NEC NP-UM352W Projector stylus pen not working?

If direct sunlight strikes the screen or camera, relocate the NEC Projector to a location shielded from direct sunlight. Similarly, if halogen or filament lamp light interferes, adjust the screen or camera direction, or block the light source. Avoid using screens with reflective frames. Ensure the stylus pen is adequately charged; if the LED doesn't turn red when pressing the tip, charge it. Verify that the screen size and operating temperature are within the recommended range (5° to 40°C or 41° to 104°F). Clean a soiled camera lens with a soft, dry, non-fluffy cloth. Note that nearby infrared remote use may also interfere with the stylus pen's operation.
