Why is there water accumulating under my Neptronic SKR?
    • A
      Angela WolfeJul 27, 2025
If you find water accumulating under your Neptronic Humidifier, several factors could be the cause. First, examine all drain couplings for leaks, obstructions, or incorrect slope. Ensure there are no drain traps installed on the drain line, as these should be removed. Next, check the water supply connection for any leaks. Also, verify that the clamp on the steam hose is properly tightened on the steam outlet of the evaporation chamber. Finally, inspect the evaporation chamber gasket inside the evaporation cover for any signs of leakage.

Why is the duct downstream of my Neptronic SKR Humidifier dispersion tube wet?
    • C
      Christopher HarrisAug 10, 2025
If the duct downstream of the dispersion tube is wet, it could be due to a few reasons. First, verify that the steam dispersion tube is installed correctly. Second, the humidifier's capacity might be too high; if so, consider installing a high limit duct humidistat (model HRDFS100). Lastly, if a high limit humidistat (HRDFS100) is available, check the setting of the DS1-3.

How to troubleshoot a Neptronic Humidifier that does not operate (no alarm)?
    • E
      emilymontgomeryAug 18, 2025
If your Neptronic Humidifier isn't operating and there's no alarm, begin by checking the main power supply and fuses to ensure the humidifier is receiving power. Then, confirm that the airflow proving switch is detecting airflow by checking that the sensor tube is properly connected inside the duct and to the AFPS100, and that the green indicator on the airflow proving switch is on. Verify the ventilation system fan is operational. Ensure the AFPS100 or HRDFS100 is correctly located. Lastly, if available, check the high limit duct humidistat operation by setting the DS1-3 to the off position; replace the HRDFS100 if the humidifier then operates normally.
