Why is the ACT LED flashing continuously on all connected ports on my NETGEAR ProSafe GS748T, and the network is disabled?
    • V
      Vincent ColeJul 30, 2025
A continuously flashing ACT LED on all connected ports, with the network disabled, indicates a network loop (redundant path) has been created. To resolve this, ensure there is only one path from any networked device to any other. You can break the loop manually. Alternatively, after connecting to the switch management interface, configure the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to prevent network loops.

How to fix NETGEAR ProSafe GS748T Switch when link LED is off?
    • R
      Richard PetersAug 7, 2025
If the Link LED on your NETGEAR Switch is off or intermittent, it indicates a port connection issue. Check the crimp on the connectors, and ensure the plug is properly inserted and locked into the port at both the switch and the connecting device. Also, ensure all cables used are correct and comply with Ethernet specifications. If problems persist, test for a defective computer adapter card, cable, or port in an alternate environment where all products are functioning.
