Timing
of
Looper and Needle (Fig.6)
Tum
the
hand wheel and check
the
crosswise movement
of
the
Looper with regard to
the
Needle. The Looper and
the
Needle are correctly timed
if
the
distance between
the
Looper point and
the
Needle hole is
the
same
A=A'
0.4mm(Fig.
7)
when
the
Looper point is in line with
the
left-side edge
of
the
Needle is
the
same
as
the
Looper moves forward
as
Looper moves backward.
If
the
distance as measured when
the
Looper is moving
to
the
left is lager
than
measured when Looper is
moving
backward
to
the
right, move backward
to
the
Looper
Drive Rocker Shaft D and when
it
is smaller move it
fonvard.
To
adjust the position
of
the
Looper Drive Rocker
Shaft
D, first loosen
the
stud
F
of
the
Looper Drive Lever J
and loosen
the
Screw H. Slightly push
or
pull
the
Shaft
to
obtain
the
required timing
of
the
Needle
and
the
Looper.
After
the
adjustment, tighten
the
Screw F.
To
adjust
the
Screw
H,
first loosen
both
the
Nut G and
the
Screw H
and after tighten
the
Screw H with
the
torque 7kg/cm.
After
the
adjustment, tighten
the
Nut G
firmly.
b) Looper Stroke (Fic.6)
The
distance between
the
Looper Lever Stud F and
the
Looper Stud L should
be
103.2mm
when
the
Looper is in
the
farthest right position
to
the
backward. Adjustment
C811
be
made
after
loosemng
the
Stud F
of
the
Looper
Drive Lever
J.
After
the
adjustment, tighten
the
Stud
F.
