of at least 40 percent of the sky. The antenna needs to be mounted as
horizontal as possible. The antenna should not be mounted behind
windscreens, ladder racks or other radio transmission antennas.

Dashboard Mount
The antenna should be mounted on the dashboard with a view of at least
40 percent of the sky. It recommended that the antenna be as
horizontal as possible. When mounting the antenna, it should be
oriented with the top section (the flat side) facing the sky.
