4.4. Basic software routines
4.4.1. Compressor starting and stopping
During the compressor start-up, the motor will run at a medium speed for 10 seconds. The
motor speed will then follow the thermostat's set speed.
When the thermostat sets the compressor off, the Inverter software first reduces the speed
to a low rpm and then stops the motor. Figure 29 shows two examples of the FMS
compressor stopping: one when the motor is at low speed and another when the motor is at
high speed. It is not recommended to turn off the compressor by turning the Inverter power
supply off.
