• Touch shutter and Touch AF/AE can be used in A (auto) mode and other
shooting modes, and the operations vary depending on the current shooting
mode (E30, E34).
Enter the A (auto) mode shooting screen M Press the d button M

q Touch shutter
(default setting)
Images can be taken by simply tapping the monitor. E29
s Subject tracking
Use this option to take images of moving subjects.
Tap the subject on which the camera will focus. The
focus area will automatically move to track the
subject.

r Touch AF/AE
Tap the monitor to set the focus area. Press the
shutter-release button to take the image with the
focus and exposure achieved with the focus area.
