Save the copy.
A confi rmation dialog will be dis-
played. Highlight Ye s and press J
to create a fi ne-quality JPEG copy
of the selected frame. Movie stills
are indicated by a 9 icon in full-
frame playback.

If Live frame grab is selected for Custom Setting g4 (Assign shutter button), you can press the
shutter-release button all the way down to silently take photographs without interrupting movie
recording. The resulting photos are about 2.1 megapixels in size and have an aspect ratio of 16 : 9
and can be zoomed in to check focus.
Select Custom Setting g4 (Assign shutter button).
Press G to display the menus,
then highlight g4 Assign shut-
ter button in the Custom Settings
menu and press 2.

Select Live frame grab.
Highlight Live frame grab and
press J.
J button
Once live frame grab has been assigned
to the shutter-release button as de-
scribed above, you can press the shut-
ter-release button all the way down at
any time during fi lming to record the
current frame as a JPEG photograph
without interrupting movie recording.
